This isn’t really news but Global Warming and Internet Inventor Al Gore is demanding we be carbon free by 2018. Some people will say anything to get noticed. Well, I demand we be carbon free by 2017. My idea? Cars and Turbines.
On cars: GM is adventuring with the public utilities to figure out how to set up a plug-in network for all of those upcoming Chevy Volt’s it is going to make.
On Turbines: Ireland has successfully installed the worlds first tidal turbine. Bitchin!

For the rockers, I want to recommend Alter Bridge: Blackbird. If you liked Creed, but wished they didn’t have Pearl Jam vocals, then Alter Bridge is the band for you. It’s basically Creed with a different more likeable vocalist.
