Today I had an issue with my Droid Incredible and was not able to access my gmail messages. The problem message I kept getting was a HTC process that would not function and as a result, the phone would not autosync.
Exasperating an already bad situation was a “Low on storage space” message that wouldn’t go away. I tried everything and it wouldn’t go away. I searched online for a remedy and did not come across one so easily. The problem was I had plenty of storage space left (using only 214mb and over 500mb free) so I knew something wasn’t quite right.
I finally found the solution and thought I would share it with you in case this happens to you in the future or it happened and you stumbled on this site through an exhaustive search!
1. Goto settings
2. Goto applications
3. Manage applications
4. Check your facebook app, gmail app, twitter app, and whatever apps you use the most of. On each one, push the “clear data” button.
This should free things up and get you syncing again. In my case, my facebook app was the culprit.
As a consummate tinkerer, I’m always trying new software and different browsers. I downloaded the Google Chrome browser way back when it first came out but never did like it as much as Firefox.
It had been a year or so since I tried Chrome so a couple weeks ago I wondered how Chrome was coming along. I downloaded the newest version of Chrome and to my surprise, it had evolved into a very nice browser.
This weeks Verizon Wireless release of the new HTC Incredible smart phone was perfect timing for yours truly since I have been due for a “new every two” phone for the past 6 months. For those of you who aren’t Verizon customers, “new every two” is a free or seriously discounted phone every two years for us dedicated Verizon wireless customers.
I have been with Verizon since Verizon became Verizon 10 years ago. I actually inherited Verizon when Airtouch Cellular became Verizon. So yeah, I would call myself a dedicated customer.
It was a typical Sunday today. Woke up, went to church, breakfast at the church, came home, watched the kids.
I thought about mowing the lawn today but I did it yesterday. I was real irritated when I had to put gas in the mower. I’m tired of putting gas in the mower. Lifehacker is again putting strange ideas in my head. It’s about the sun stoopid.
Another sunny idea comes from CNN news. This may cost a few bucks to develop but I like it.
For those of you engaged in calling people names on your blogs – think again.
A highschool senior who is also a high ranking student council person had some not so kind words of a school official.
Any John Madden fans out there? The guy has been around as long as the sport of Football. Ebaum has a post with some very funny audio with some Madden impressions.
Next time you are shopping, don’t forget your phone camera. The busy bodies over at Android are making sure you get the best price.
You are on this list. Trust me.
And finally, the internet is going to end in 2012. If you are a joiner, say, when you are done trying to prevent the evil LNG from coming here, you can join these guys. Just make sure to steer clear of the impending comet that will crash into the earth (after the LNG explodes of course).
